The Tweed Run is a very cool and super stylish global event, on its 10th anniversary, sees hundreds of stylish individuals take to the streets of various cities.

Their method of transportation, the cycle. Not I did not use the word bicycle, as that is but one of the plethora of mechanised personal vehicles used. There are tricycle’s, tandems, towering penny farthings and so many others.
The other cool things about this spectacle is it’s super stylish, as everyone has to dress in tweed.

With that said, it can be a single item form a cap, hat, skirt, plus fours, trousers, jacket, waistcoat, to full on ensembles from the 1930s through to 1950s, if authentic in full vintage glory, as so many are, or a fusion of past and present inspirations.
What matters is that this is a classic spectacle of full on British eccentricity at its finest, that can be seen on the streets of central London on a rare sunny day.

Exactly what we all need.

Here are a few of the images I managed to capture that sums up what you can expect to see.
Images along the route and some of the super stylish men and women, during a halfway picnic.
