Yesterday I had the pleasure of a visit from a woman I have long admired, along with an impromptu photo-shoot. Fashion loving blogger, fashionista and way cool super stylish Freya Siu.
Made in China and based in London, I first encountered Freya about a year or so ago at London Fashion Week, where I was doing some street style.

Freya has great style, and like my muse Harper is super tiny in physique, which is a challenge at times, because what is tiny here in the UK, is huge on her. As you all well know by now, I manage to do OK when styling these incredible women such as Harper and Freya. I very much hope to work with Freya a lot more. She has a more edgy groove to her look or natural style. Although these images don’t quite show that at its best, this is only my first attempt at interpreting my vision of this woman’s beauty and style, I do hope you like what you see. Super cool stuff will come in due time, but it was fun seeing her and being creative with her image.

Here’s what we did with Freya.

We chose a super tiny slinky hand embroidered vintage Cheongsam/Qipao from the 1940s, with the detail of a gold sequin peacock, and classic statement car fender heels by Prada, from her SS 2012 collection.

For the second look we put Freya in a beautiful Victorian silk red bodice / riding habit, with jodhpurs from the 1940s, and as an accent, red mules by Stuart Weitzman.

As always, all items used are from my own personal vintage fashion collection.
